This is a safety course with commercial applications in industries involving use of snowmobiles for off-road access including forestry, guiding and search and rescue. It is also applicable to the recreational user and new riders.

Certification is valid for 2 years in BC. Course material is regularly updated to provide operators with the most current information available.

Commercial operators are required to abide by all safe operational rules and regulations and are encouraged to carry their certification card on their person at all times when operating equipment.
