This is a safety course with commercial applications in industries requiring use of chainsaws including forestry, arborists and wildfire management. It is also applicable to the rural homeowner and new users.

Certification is valid for 2 years in BC. Course material is regularly updated to provide operators with the most current information available.

Commercial operators are required to abide by all safe operational rules and regulations and are encouraged to carry their certification card on their person at all times when operating equipment.
